We create a “space of creation” for translators and authors, a space for translation creativity – we connect an author and a translator to create a book in another language safely and quickly, publish and promote in new countries as an author and translator.
History of creation
The 2translate.me project was founded by translator Tatiana Istomina in 2015 in order to create a “space of creation” for translators and authors and help to realize their common dream – to translate and publish a book in another country in another language.
Meaning of the name
2translate.me means “to translate me” or “to translate for me.” Thus, it is often difficult for authors to find a translator and evaluate the quality of the translation, while translators find it difficult to get interesting projects. Therefore, 2translate.me aims to find interesting authors and talented translators, unite them in a harmonious tandem union and together create translation masterpieces, and then publish them in other countries.
In the 2translate.me project, aspiring authors and translators receive the necessary theoretical knowledge and resources, as well as regular mastermind sessions for effective practical work. All authors receive translation and editing services, publication and promotion of the book, full support, from the search for the “author-translator” tandem to the finished publication in the country of the target language.
